The Vandalia-Butler Foundation annually awards a
round of discretionary grants to nonprofit organizations
that serve our community.
From Vandalia Youth Theatre productions and After Prom events to a hydrophonic grow wall at a local school and replenishments
for the Vandalia-Butler Food Pantry, we support worthy causes in our own backyard.
To be eligible for a grant, an organization must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code,
be nondiscriminatory and address needs that are not met fully by existing organizational or community resources.
Discretionary grant applications are accepted Aug. 15-Sept. 30. Grant recipients will be notified of awards by Oct. 15. We will award $6,000 during this grant cycle. Review our guidelines and apply here.
(Please note that successful grant recipients must submit a short report on how the funds are being used, along with a photo, by Dec. 31.)
