A Letter to Our Community

Dear Friends of the Vandalia-Butler Foundation,
On behalf of the Vandalia-Butler Foundation Board of Trustees, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your generosity, compassion, and belief in the power of community. Because of you, the Foundation continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, families, schools, businesses, organizations, and neighbors throughout Vandalia and Butler Township.
Through the generosity of our donors and the careful stewardship of the Foundation, our family of funds has grown to nearly $10.4 million. These resources will continue to strengthen our community today and for generations to come.
Fiscal year 2026 was also a record-setting year for our educational grants program. With the support of our donors and the strength of the VISIONS Fund, the Foundation awarded a record $36,940 in new educational grants, helping Vandalia-Butler educators bring creative ideas and innovative learning opportunities to life for their students.
Together, we also awarded nearly $80,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors, investing in their dreams and helping prepare the next generation to pursue their goals and make their own mark on the world.
As we conclude our terms as co-chairs of the Vandalia-Butler Foundation, we find ourselves reflecting not only on the accomplishments of this past year, but also on what makes this organization so special.
At its heart, the Foundation is about people who care deeply about this community and who believe that, by working together, we can make it even stronger.
We are pleased to share the 2025–2026 Vandalia-Butler Foundation Annual Report. Within these pages are just some of the stories, accomplishments, and opportunities made possible by people like you.
