The Vandalia-Butler Foundation is proud to feature the artwork of Butler High School senior Kayden Beck in its inaugural pickleball marathon’s publicity campaign.
Kayden designed the logo for the Sept. 26-27 “Paddle-Palooza” fundraiser by outfitting Vandalia Parks and Recreation’s mascot, Ricky the Rabbit, in full pickleball gear.
“Kayden has always been interested in art and has taken every art class the high school offers,” said Tara Landis, art educator at Butler High School.
Now on summer break, Kayden juggles two jobs while preparing for her senior year. After graduation, she plans to pursue a dual major in college, with one focusing on art and design.
“We’re always happy to revere and share our community’s home-grown talent,” said Julie Trick, co-chair of the Vandalia-Butler Foundation. “We’re grateful for Kayden’s contribution to Paddle-Palooza, an event we hope will become a beloved annual tradition.”
