Abbey Credit Union is helping students in Vandalia-Butler City Schools imagine what’s possible and take steps toward achieving their dreams with a generous $2,250 gift to the VISIONS Fund.

“We’re proud to be part of something bigger, helping connect students to real experiences that shape our community and the future we share,” said Dean Pielemeier, president and CEO. “When students are given the chance to explore, ask questions and see a path forward, it builds confidence that lasts far beyond the classroom. That’s why Abbey Credit Union supports VISIONS. We want to be there as those paths begin to take shape.”

Abbey Credit Union’s impact goes beyond financial support.

“Abbey Credit Union has supported innovative classroom initiatives through grant funding while also contributing marketing expertise, including a beautifully designed printed piece that expands our reach in the community. We greatly value this partnership,” said Denise Eder, co-chair of the Vandalia-Butler Foundation who leads the VISIONS education committee.

In 2026, the Vandalia-Butler Foundation awarded a record-breaking $36,940 in educational grants to support creative and impactful educational experiences in the Vandalia-Butler City Schools.
